DR CHINMOY SAHU
Chinmoy is interested in identifying the drivers of financial performance of business firms. His research is directed at how business firms measure and communicate their financial performance to investors. He is also interested in how investors react to information and how managers make various financial decisions.
Chinmoy is interested in supervising his research students across research projects and topics that include the following:
- Corporate finance - financial decision making like investment decisions, financing decisions, dividend decisions
- Financial reporting - financial performance analysis, financial reporting practices, regulation and international harmonisation
- Behavioural finance - behavioural patterns of financial markets, investors, managers, their goals and rationality
- Cost management - product and service costing methodologies, drivers and strategies
