Amy is interested in how companies can create and capture customer value through the implementation of various marketing management strategies. Her research is directed at understanding customer needs and  building strong and profitable customer relationships. 


Research projects and topics that Amy is interested supervising her research students in include the following:

  • Customer relationship marketing – service quality, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty, relationship marketing, customer service orientation
  • Consumer behaviour – understanding consumer characteristics and profile, consumer decision processes, consumer purchase and post-purchase behaviours
  • Retailing – retail store environment, customer experience management in retailing, self-service technologies in retailing.
