Manipal GlobalNxt Quality Framework

Manipal GlobalNxt University aspires to be the preeminent university in global education and research.

The Manipal GlobalNxt University intends to develop a faculty which will be comprised of a mix of both full-time faculty staff in addition to adjunct faculty staff draw from leading academic institutions across the globe.

To date, Manipal GlobalNxt University has developed a resource with access to more than 40 doctoral qualified faculty spread around the globe. GNU aims to have all faculty staff doctoral-qualified in their area of teaching and hold established records of research and service.

Quality Framework (QF)

The Quality Framework (QF) used by the University is developed from best practices taken and adapted from universities in the U21 consortium (including University of Virginia, University of Melbourne, and University), the processes used at U21Pedagogica and best practices in online education.

In the QF, this objective is supported through four main quality pillars which the University has identified as being central to this core mission:

  • Faculty Quality - qualified, competent and committed faculty
  • Program Quality - innovative programs that address needed skill sets
  • Subject Quality - courses designed to fully enable stated learning outcomes
  • Learner Support Quality - effective support for students to achieve their learning goals.
